The submission should not include your name or identifying information other than the title
and text of your work.
On a separate sheet of paper (hardcopy) or in the body of the email include
1. Your name, Date of Birth and Contact Information
2. The number of stories submitted
3. The title(s) of the story(s)
Deadline: Monday 26th May 2015 (midnight)
Theme: Any submissions in the genre of Science Fiction, Horror and Fantasy
Catagories: Junior (11 or under by 26th May 2015)
Young Adult (between 12 - 17 by 26th May 2015)
Adult (18 or over by 26th May 2015)
Length: Junior = Under 1000 words
Young Adult = Under 3000 words
Adult = Under 5000 words
Short-listing: Submissions will be short-listed in each category for the guest judges to adjudicate.
Short-listed entries will be notified by 10th June 2015.
Guest judges: Eoin Colfer.
Winner notified: 20th June 2015 during Wexworlds festival.
Open to: The competition is open to anyone resident in Ireland.
Age Limit: There is no age limit.
No. of Entries: No limit per person.
The entrant must exclusively own and control all copyright and all other related rights to the work submitted. Wexworlds reserves the right to publish all or part of the submission whilst acknowledging the writer.
