Census 2011 SAPMAP
On 31 July 2012, the Central Statistics office (CSO) published the Small Area Population statistics - the latest instalment in its series of Census 2011 results.
Free access to this data is available using a new, interactive mapping and search tool (SAPMAP). Users are able to access the full set of census statistics relating to their own area.
The publication of census data for small, local areas makes this very interesting to the general public, particularly at local and community level. It allows users to find out more about their local areas.
There are 10 different layers of geography, ranging from State down to electoral Division and Small Areas.
A collection of 46 tables cover a range of themes - education, occupation, industries, ethnicity, nationality, and housing amongst them.
