This Culture Night on Friday the 18th of September, Central Library (Letterkenny) and Europe Direct Information Centre presents a programme of history and Heritage.

Behind the scenes in the Library

6.00pm-7.30pm

Staff at the Central Library Letterkenny have spent the last 30 years gathering every article, book and author associated with Donegal into one library, we call this the Donegal Studies Collection. See a snapshot of Donegal as it was, from Mícheál Ó’Cléirigh and the four Masters to poteen making in Inishowen. The lives of Isacc Butt to Daniel O’Donnell and the changing landscape of the county from the first ordnance survey maps of 1835 through to the new A5.
